Andrew Cox, Comfort Specialist at Atlantic Heat

Andrew Cox has been with Atlantic Heating and Cooling for six years, beginning as a Service Technician and currently as the Senior Comfort Specialist. He has installed over 2,000 HVAC units and serviced thousands more. He trained for 4 years in advanced HVAC classes, enabling him to obtain his Virgina Journeyman license and become a Certified HVAC Technician. Andrew has also studied load calculation and air quality in an effort to increase his knowledge in all aspects of home heating, ventilation, and cooling. He has more than ten years of experience in HVAC service and utilizes that experience to help customers get the most out of their heating and cooling systems.

Customers consistently say that Andrew’s attention to detail and thorough evaluation of the problem is above and beyond their expectations. He is very easy to get along with and his ultimate goal is to help his customers get solutions to their home comfort problems.

Prior to working with Atlantic Heating and Cooling, Andrew Cox served four years in the Marine Corps. He served from 1997 – 2001 in an infantry battalion that deployed twice to the Meditteranian and once to Panama.  He supported Recon on his second deployment and the unit specialized in ship takeover and city block takeover.

He grew up in Richmond’s West End, graduating from Douglas Freeman High School where he was involved in a number of sports teams including football, track, and wrestling.
